Following the success of their debut “Sound Surroundings” the original Dutch Masters of sampling return with “Darker Days”. The EP features five new cinematic instrumental hip-hop tracks full of masterfully crafted drum breaks, good old-fashioned turntablism, and melancholic sample-based soundscapes. This record features no vocalists or guest appearances and is a testament to The Q4’s original statement: good hip-hop beats are better without rap.
